I auditioned for an acapella group on my college campus. This was a year after Pitch Perfect came out and Pitch Perfect 2 was on the horizon so people were going crazy. As a gay little freshman on a college campus, I felt a sudden shame and fear that was overtaking me. I did what any reasonable 18 year old with fear would do. I never showed up. I ghosted them. I never saw half those people ever again on that campus and when I did, I did NOT make eye contact. The group was discontinued and never heard from again after the 2014 semesters. The 2 rallies they WERE at though? Painful. Thank you for forcing me to recollect this memory Ven it truly hit me like a that's so raven vision.
