This is both an ASBB season finale and an @AMANDA season finale blog. Real life is getting busier and I’ve been needing break since Celebrities 10 ended! I stuck around so I could run the Hawaiian beaches of Skinnisha and so I could host one last season with all my favorite players. This season was exhausting as HELL. So glad it’s over no shade. Attempting to vote him out week 1 on ASBB2 to voting him to win ASBB5” LEQUISHAQ voted for…. “My vote came down to my interaction within the game. I’m THE emotional player of ASBB so my final vote will be an emotional decision. James you were there for me at both my toughest and happiest times. I am proud to watch you kill this game and I hope I’ll be one of many keys to give you the win” X voted for…. “I'm sorry that you're Jaded.” TORIMARIE voted for…. “I have decided to vote James to win ASBB5 James I really felt how much you cared about this game, and I truly feel like you played a great game. You were the one person I considered the biggest threat from the beginning and I think you’d be a great winner of the season” OREN voted for…. “JAMES You gave this game your everything, and our friendship was one of my favorite parts of it. ❤️” ENVIOUS voted for…. “I’m casting my vote for James to win ASBB5! As much as I do love Jake, I feel as thought James put in a lot more effort into the game, while also having my best interest over Jake.” ITSAMODERNLIFE voted for…. “No Paul snubbings will be happening on my watch.” Which means that it all came down to the Final Juror: MARWANE. MARWANE voted for….. The Winner of #ASBB5……. “I am casting my vote for James to be the winner. I love both very much, I had fun playing the game with both. I felt like overall James explained his game more and felt he had to do a little bit more work to get to where he’s at. I do believe that had Jaded sat against anyone else he would have gotten my vote but from my perspective I just feel like James played the better game out of the 2. Yes this is 1 blog from final 9 to final 2. Strap in. Previously on #ASBB5… Following the heartbreaking evictions of Maddie and Glitter, the FINAL 9 consisted of Envious Itsamodernlife Jaded James LeQuishaQ Marwane Oren Torimarie and x. Needing to avenge her twice evicted idiot sister, TORIMARIE won the KNOCKOUT HOH competition. She nominated LeQuishaQ and James for eviction. In the COLOR QUEST POV competition, TORIMARIE MADE ASBB HISTORY as the first houseguest to win THREE competitions in a row! By a vote of 4-2… LEQUISHAQ was evicted from the ASBB House. The house was shocked at the vote count, and no one feeling more emotional about LQ’s eviction than Itsamodernlife. He had accepted defeat and had multiple houseguests blocked on discord. The house braced itself for terror when ITSAMODERNLIFE won the SPAMANDASINGS HOH competition. On top of a chaotic HOH, half of the houseguests were about to attend The AngieKStan Meet & Greet! At four different points in the week, those houseguests would skip a ceremony in the house. The houseguests were informed ahead of time that The Angie K Meet & Greet would not change or add to the HOH’s nominations. X skipped the nomination ceremony, and was safe from initial nominations. This did not protect him at the veto meeting. Torimarie skipped the veto draw, and could not be picked to play in the veto competition. This would be nullified if Tori were an initial nominee: Jaded skipped the veto meeting, and was safe from being a replacement nominee. This did not protect him at the initial nomination ceremony. Oren skipped the eviction vote, and lost his vote to evict for the week. At the nomination ceremony, Itsamodernlife nominated James and Torimarie for eviction. In the MEMORY POV competition, JAMES won the Power of Veto and saved himself from the block. In an admittedly emotional move, Mod-ern named Mod- x as the replacement nominee. The final nominees were TORIMARIE and X. By a vote of 2-2, the vote tied. This left the final decision up to HOH Itsamodernlife. Modern faced the house and chose to send X to the jury house. This marked the second time Marwane would vote out X in a Kovaze group game for 8th place. Later in the week X would go on to get 8th place in #DNTM6. I’m proud of you kitten In a surprise to almost no one, Loved Ones James and Jaded (“JAMESDED”) proceeded to win the all of the remaining HOH competitions. At the final 7, JAMES won the BALLOONS HOH competition. He nominated Torimarie and Itsamodernlife for eviction to return the nominations over the last two weeks. In the REBUILD POV competition, JADED won and chose to respect his Loved One’s nominations. Jamesded made it clear to the houseguests that keeping two competitive threats of this caliber for this long would become a game-ending mistake for the rest of them. By a vote of 3-1… THE icon Torimarie was evicted from the ASBB House. Although Tori didn’t reach the final 2 like she did in #ASBB1, Tori proved that she is a top tier competitor in both old school and new school ASBB competitions. Thank you for being a core part of what ASBB has become today & for continuing to change this game Tori 💙 Mourning the subsequent evictions of his closest allies, Oren reflected on the mistakes his allies made in letting “the boys” (James Jaded Envious and Marwane) make it through so many HOH reigns unscathed. Oren proved to be the only houseguest who understood the severity of the situation. From left to right: Dimitra Maddie Glitter LeQuishaQ Starrydash Torimarie Oren planned to give lessons in strategy to his recently evicted allies, Torimarie X and LeQuishaQ. He displayed messages of these three downplaying the loyalty and threat level of “the boys.” With James as the outgoing HOH, it was JADED’s turn to win the classic, unserious, and polarizing A WINNING MINDSET HOH competition. In a 90-minute Crossover episode, #ASBB4 Winner Koolness234 gave HOH Jaded the opportunity to watch the premiere of ESPERANZA ENDURANCE. He shared this reward with his Loved One James, leaving the rest of the houseguests (Envious Marwane Oren and Itsamodernlife) on ASBB slop for the rest of the week. At the nomination ceremony, Jaded nominated Itsamodernlife and Oren for eviction. In the PHANTOM OF THE OTEV POV competition, MARWANE identified the houseguests that @Amanda sang about and secured the Power of Veto. Knowing that using the veto would all but force his Loved One Envious onto the block, Marwane felt he had no choice but to discard the veto. With final nominees of Itsamodernlife and Oren facing eviction, OREN was sadly evicted by a vote of 2-1. Oren proved to be one of the best strategic players and we thank him so much for being such a delight to host! We love you Oren ❤️ In a LIVE FINAL 5 ROUND, things moved FAST. JAMES won the KNIGHT MOVES HOH competition (hosted by Glaceon!) and nominated Itsamodernlife and Marwane for eviction. In the FALSE START POV competition, unclear rules and rushed comp judging led to Envious getting mad af when underdog ITSAMODERNLIFE won the Power of Veto. With Jaded as the only other possible replacement nominee, James nominated the chaotic OG ENVIOUS against his loved one Marwane. This marked the first time Wes touched the block across the entire season. Unfortunately, by a vote of 2-0… ENVIOUS became the first and only houseguest to be evicted during two separate live evictions. In both #ASBB1 and #ASBB5, Envious was evicted on his second-closest ally’s HOH when the one person who couldn’t win veto (whom he’d saved the week before in a vote), won the veto. Each time Envious was evicted shortly after becoming the player with the most win equity in the game. Thank you so much for two incredible runs Wes! The FINAL FOUR consisted of James Jaded Marwane and Itsamodernlife. It was JADED’s turn in the rotation to win the WEB OF LIES HOH competition. He nominated Marwane and Itsamodernlife for eviction. In the EVRTNGBAGEL (Neeko) Final POV competition, it was JADED who scored the highest in nearly every event. He did not use the veto, leaving his Loved One James with the decision to evict either Itsamodernlife or Marwane. Based on loyalty and competition ability, James chose to evict ITSAMODERNLIFE for 4th place. Modern’s game moves and social gameplay rubbed a lot of people the wrong way, but made him the ultimate underdog of the season. Modern holds the rare honor of taking out my close friends gay (ASBB1) and x on his HOHs. If you move around & repeat a couple letters of “MODERN” you get “MOD ENDER” and that’s exactly what he was. He admits that this was not his cleanest game, but we loved every minute of the mess. Thank you Modern for two exciting and chaotic runs! The FINAL 3 was set. It was clear that Marwane needed to win the Final HOH competition or he would surely be the final evicted houseguest. In PART 1 of the Final HOH, the houseguests competed in THE BLOGS GAME. In a controversial ruling to (attempt to) wrap this endless season, Jaded was announced the winner of Part 1! In Part 2, James won CROSSWORD. In Part 3, JADED won the FINAL HOH of the summer. In a heartwarming moment, Marwane left wishing the final two the best of luck! Marwane you were my inact king of the season. You and your loved one envious gave us some of the funniest moments of the season thank you so much for having so much heart. #Marvious may have stalled this season a combined 7-8 days but we love you sm. #ASBB5 Marwane Hi jurors! Coming into this game, I knew competitions were never going to be my biggest strength, so I built my game around what I knew I could rely on, which is my social game. From the beginning, I made it a priority to build genuine relationships with everyone. Because of that, no matter who was in power whatever week, I was rarely someone people wanted to target. I worked hard to make people feel comfortable with me, leading them to trust me and see value in keeping me around to benefit their games. I know some of you may feel betrayed by decisions I made but that trust was also a huge part of why my game has worked. I made sure I always had multiple paths forward and when those paths eventually conflicted, I made the decisions I believed that gave me the best chance of reaching the end. I never needed competitions to carry me here, although I still managed to win two POV’s, which were crucial wins that helped secure my own and my allies safety. My biggest strength was making sure I was protected at all angles, even when I had no power of my own. I believe my relationships and positioning in this game, gave me the ability to stay protected, which all lead me to these Final 3 chairs. #ASBB5 JADED Final 3 ❤️ I came into this game as a returning player. I was one of only two returning players to have made the finals on my original season and I would love nothing more than to go 2/2. I enter any game with a huge target on my back and after losing 4-3 on my first season I wanted to prove I was not a fluke and I was not. I won 3 HOHs and 3 POVs, I got nominated one time snd I was vetoed. Between two seasons I have been nominated twice and received one vote to evict. I am also grateful to have entered this season with my ride or die James and we enter the final 3 as the only pair remaining. I think we played this game as one duo rather than two singles, which is a mistake I saw the rest of the duo making. My partner is an an amazing friend and ally and if anyone ever went against him, I took it as a shot against me. So though he was under fire at times and I was not, I was always playing with a purpose and it was to save me and him. I think that’s why we have both made it here. #ASBB5 JAMES Hi Jurors, Those of you who have had the (mis)fortune of playing games with me in the past probably know about my cutthroat nature, or how I have a tendency to mistreat people solely for my own benefit. Coming into this game, I wanted to take a different approach. This season, I wanted to play a more honest game; and play a game where I was not just reliant on comp wins to carry me to the end. I did both of these. I avoided making any unnecessary promises, did not start conversations just for the sake of speaking and lying to people, and stuck to my word as much as possible - everything I said to was true at the moment it was said. I won 6 competitions, but none of them were essential for my survival in the game. During the beginning of the game, I leveraged winning the first HOH to solidify my position, along with my partner, across various groups of 4 and 6 within the Water House. This allowed me to establish loyalty with pre-existing connections, as well as begin making new connections that would carry on deep into the game. Once the houses merged, my next focus was on setting myself up well socially. There had been various people who had started engaging in conversations with me prior to the houses coming together, so I was able to strengthen some of these relationships further. Between weeks 2-8, the only competition I won was the Week 5 POV (during the split houses), which I successfully used to demonstrate loyalty to the majority of the house by discarding, favouring both the HOH who wanted nominations kept the same, and gaining favour with people such as Glitter and Modern, either of which would have been the likely renom. During this period I gained particular closeness to Chibi, LQ, and Oren - 3 people without a partner, 3 people I gained a healthy position on their totem pole, and 3 people who my relationship with benefitted me at various stages as we entered the jury phase. Moving into the endgame, winning an HOH was not crucial, but I was ready to take a shot at two of the biggest threats, Modern and Montana. I think this HOH was pivotal in setting myself up for success, as the way I played this round guaranteed a big threat left, but also enabled me to set myself up for the following rounds, as I do not believe I would have left the game being on the block vs anybody at the Final 6. Namely, this came down to my closeness with Jake, Oren, and Wes. Yes, Jake won the Final 6 HOH, but considering I had just nominated 2 of the 5 eligible winners of that competition, this demonstrated the strength of my social game in the weeks prior, guaranteeing my safety in a round where I could have been vulnerable and only one opportunity to save myself. Now, as recently as last round, I was the sole vote to evict another big threat in Modern. I believe that I deserve to win ASBB 5 because I utilised my competition wins to make moves that were going to best-position myself moving forward; curated and developed personal and game relationships to increase my likelihood of surviving any evictions I may encounter; and strategically manoeuvring, making decisions that would best position myself moving forward, yet not at the expense of other people's trust and emotions. I knew what to say and when to say it; I knew when to win and how to reap the rewards of it; and I knew how something would benefit my game and what approach was needed to achieve it. I truly think my gameplay encapsulates the rollercoaster that this season was, and would serve as the perfect representation for this journey we got to experience together. ASBB5 Jury: 1. Maddie 2. Previously on #ASBB5……. Following the shocking eviction of naughtynacho, as well as starrydash’s controversial HOH reign that led to Dimitra’s eviction, the houseguests returned from their split houses for the final 12. The houseguests competed in SAVE THE SHOW for HOH, where JADED correctly found all sets of missing lyrics to showtunes in under 2 minutes! As Head of Household, Jaded chose to nominate GLITTER and MADDIE. Some houseguests questioned whether Glitter deserved to return to the game after her eviction, and Maddie nominated Jaded the following week. In the CARDSHARKS POV competition, LEQUISHAQ surprised everyone when she won her first competition of the season! Winning POV right after losing her Loved One Dimitra, LQ had her eyes locked on one target: Starrydash. LeQuishaQ announced that she would be using the POWER OF VETO on MADDIE. As HOH, Jaded faced the houseguests and named his replacement nominee: STARRYDASH. Starry was in shock and questioned whether this was the right move for Jaded’s game. Despite feeling totally blindsided, Starrydash pleaded with all of her houseguests for their vote. In the end, a gutted Host @Amanda announced that, by a vote of 9-0…… Starrydash was evicted from the #ASBB5 House. The first ever victim to a “true backdoor” in the ASBB house: Starrydash was evicted without getting the chance to compete for HOH OR POV that week. Starry you are an absolute queeeeeeen and I hope we see you back in the house soon! Thank you for keeping this phase of the game so engaging we love you 🫶 The Final 11 houseguests received an unexpected announcement from Host @Amanda. As a massive thank-you to the cast for everything they’ve brought this season, ASBB5 will be the first (and likely only) season with a Jury of NINE. This meant that the remaining ELEVEN houseguests had all made it to the Jury Phase of #ASBB5! Before the houseguests could celebrate, they learned that the classic TRIPLE EVICTION had already begun. In the next round, TWO houseguests would be leaving the game. HOH nominates 3 people while the houseguests cast a vote to SAVE one nominee. The two nominees with the least votes to save are evicted. In the PROJECT AMA-DNA HOH competition, Torimarie James and LeQuishaQ scored the post points in the first round. In the end, it was LEQUISHAQ who won this EXTREMELY powerful HOH. LeQuishaQ had the responsibility to name THREE nominees. Her first nominee was GLITTER for campaigning for LQ to go on the block two weeks ago. Her second nominee was TORIMARIE for being a threat based on Tori’s ASBB1 performance. Her third nominee was X for lack of communication. The houseguests competed in ASBB JEOPARDY! for the Power of Veto. In the first round, Torimarie James Maddie and Jaded performed exceptionally well. By only 200 points, Maddie fell short of moving on to compete for the veto. In Final Jeopardy, TORIMARIE blew her competitors out of the water and won the POWER OF VETO! She proudly used the veto on herself: With the veto used, LeQuishaQ quickly stepped forward and named MADDIE as the replacement nominee. The houseguests, production, and the audience alike were gagged as fuck. After using the POV on Maddie last week, LQ declared Maddie one of her new targets for eviction. The reactions in the ASBB5 house ranged from shock to confusion to defeat to celebration. Everyone had an opinion on the three final nominees: Glitter Maddie and X. Seven houseguests were voting: Envious Itsamodernlife Jaded James Marwane Oren Torimarie. With only quiet support, it became clear that Maddie would struggle the most to get votes to stay in the game. Unsure why this move happened in the first place, the Fan Favorite Maddie understood that her game was coming to an end. Maddie expressed that she was proud of her impact on the game and that Envious will regret not spending time with his family/friends in Portugal and also France. A lot has happened yall so buckle up…… A record-breaking TWENTY houseguests entered the #ASBB5 house in ten pairs of two Loved Ones. They entered the BLOOD House or the WATER House to begin the season in split houses. No one knew that a few of the houseguests held a huge secret that would change the game…. RandyBandy & Itsamodernlife - A complicated relationship between the original ASBB wall-yeller and the original ASBB fan favorite. A last-minute casting swap sent these two wildcards into the game as Loved Ones! Let’s see if they can put the past behind them or become unlikely friends. Torimarie & Glitter - We ALL knew glitmarie was gonna be on the season. The original runner up of ASBB and the original veto queen have been sisters since birth. Tori nearly won ASBB1 and Glitter was nearly first boot of ASBB2. They each had amazing runs on ASBB1 and ASBB2, it’s time to see if they’ll be as successful in #ASBB5! NaughtyNacho & Aligxo - Whenever Nacho is revealed on a cast, everybody gets scared. Naughty Nacho is responsible for the craziest night of ASBB history in his plea to stay in the game during ASBB2. He entered #ASBB5 with his confrontational but lovable best friend Ali for her rookie season! Maddie & NotNicky333 - It’s been a long time coming, yall. Everyone knows the story by now: when casting for ASBB1, my advisor benopolis instantly suggested one name I HAD to have: MADDIE. Maddie is a superstar whose ASBB debut is long overdue. Her partner Nicky showed so much potential in ASBB4 last season and deserved a second chance. Dimitra & LeQuishaQ - The Supermodels have arrived in #ASBB5! Dimi is known as the Godmother of ASBB after pushing me to host a Big Brother “group game.” She made the iconic ASBB1 logo and the rest is history! Her partner LQ played ASBB2 and had a very strong run cut short by the classic triple eviction. These two DIVAS have shaped the foundation of this game and we love them sooooo so much here at ASBB! Starrydash & Oren - Our first all-rookie pair, these two have been hungry to play ASBB for many seasons now. Starry has experienced #Skinnisha and #Perception, and now she’s ready to play with the icons in #ASBB5. We have wanted to see Oren play for so many seasons and we’re thrilled it finally worked out for season 5!! On a cast with so many Kovaze/TG veterans, these two friends are here to build their own legacies. James & Jaded - These are my besties. Jaded is known for so many things: stanning Miley, Jaded Soul, loyalty, nearly winning ASBB2, and most importantly being my Favorite houseguest of all time. Jaded loves the ASBB house and the ASBB loves Jaded right back. James is a LONG time friend to both hosts! He has shaped my play-style and Glaceon’s hosting style. We are absolutely thrilled to have both of these icons in the #ASBB5 house! @Kallie’s friends! can’t find their photos Envious & Marwane - We’ve waited far too long for these two to play #ASBB5. Wes is the original ASBB trouble-maker. In a house with the loudest personalities on Kovaze, Wes was the most controversial figure in the house by far. His trajectory in ASBB1 was insane, going from the most hated to most beloved houseguest overnight via a showmance and exposing MessyJ in the same day. Marwane is known for stabbing PGamer in the back and being robbed of the Skinnisha season 1 win. Like why did that jury have so many people on it? Relatively new to long-term games, Marwane is here to make his mark on the ASBB house. x & Sam - Mod Chibi is the architect who built the ASBB house! He’s watched from the sidelines in the production room and now is his chance to jump into the game! We should have cast him with ironmuffin. The Houseguests THOUGHT they were playing three weeks of typical Big Brother in split houses: the BLOOD house and the WATER house. What they didn’t know was that FOUR houseguests held a secret that would change ASBB forever……… WEEK 1: - BLOOD HOH: Oren Oren nominated Glitter and @Kallie’s friend. POV: @Kallie’s friend Final Noms: Glitter Torimarie Banished: Glitter (7-0) - WATER HOH: James James nominated RandyBandy and Itsamodernlife. POV: James, discarded. Banished: RandyBandy (5-2) WEEK 2: - BLOOD HOH: Starrydash Starry nominated NaughtyNacho and Aligxo POV: Starrydash, discarded. - WATER HOH: Itsamodernlife Modern nominated James and x POV: Jaded, saved James. Then, the ASBB Live Feeds went down for the next 24 hours. The houseguests learned that Ali, Nicky, and both of Kallie’s friends were part of a brand new twist: THE IMPOSTERS. As an IMPOSTER, their job was to cause chaos before the real season began. The houseguests said goodbye to the four imposters, and HELLO to the formerly BANISHED RandyBandy Glitter!!!! The game had RESET and the houseguests merged to one house of sixteen players. For the Weeks 1-2 competition winners, they would receive immense power going into Week 3! The house was in turmoil, and when the feeds returned, the five competition winners had selected an advantage for the next week. Itsamodernlife James Starrydash Oren and Jaded chose between: SAFETY WITHOUT POWER, HOH RE-TRY, or EXTRA VOTE. Oren nominated Sam and Itsamodernlife. In the BENOP BROADWAY BLITZ veto competition, ENVIOUS won the POWER OF VETO and chose to keep the nominations the same. By a vote of 11-0…. Sam was unceremoniously evicted from the ASBB5 house. In the TARGET PRACTICE HOH competition, ENVIOUS survived a grueling 9 hour competition and became the new Head of Household! Wes nominated Maddie and x for eviction after an explosive fight with Maddie. In the COLOR CHAOS POV competition, however, MADDIE was the only player to solve the math equation correctly and won the POWER OF VETO! Maddie used the veto on herself and forced Wes to find a new person to nominate. After lots of deliberation, Envious named RandyBandy as his replacement nominee. By a vote of 10-2…. The iconic RandyBandy was evicted for the last time. That legend gave it his all every single week & we are so thankful he decided to play ASBB5 as passionately as he did. Envious is known in the ASBB universe as the first ever true ICON of the series. Known for confrontations and fights, Envious managed to flip his game overnight from having no chance at winning to being the frontrunner to win it all. In ASBB1, Envious could have won the entire game if not for an unfortunate veto result in the first ever OTEV competition. This time, he's going for the crown. We have been trying to make a Marwane ASBB appearance work for ages now. As someone with less traditional ORG experience than the rest of the cast, he's best known for running Skinnisha S1 and backstabbing PGamer in Royale. Marwane is used to dealing with hurt feelings.
