I had so much fun tonight! Only 9 players but it was still really great. I was a faithful and made it to the final 3…where I was voted out. 😂 but made some new friends (including the traitor who won) and am glad I got my ass out the house for once. Also super motivated to apply for the real show now

might be my big one as a teacher. I start by splitting them into tribes and they have some sort of (educational) game that determines which tribe is immune. Then I spin a wheel of names to select 2 students to face off in some sort of flash challenge (puzzle, custom wordle, etc). Loser is eliminated, winner continues in the game. It sounds a bit dull as I'm typing it but the students get real into it! we just started a new semester and one of my classes is excited for our classroom survivor :) alsooo if anyone has any ideas I could steal for this, my ears are open!

Amtrak arrives 25 minutes late. Can't get a Lyft. Finally give up and do what I'm afraid of, which is taking the NY subway at night. Rightfully so, there's a crazy guy going belligerent. He only gets off one stop before me but thankfully that was over. I get out of the station and need to walk to my hotel. I can't read a map. I go into Raising Cane's across the street. I almost ask for help with directions. Do I? No. Instead I turn around, confused, in the crosswalk like a dumbass. Still end up going the wrong way. I course correct. You'd think it ends there, but no. I get to where the hotel is supposed to be. I can't see it. I thought this guy was going into it, I went to follow him. He looked at me, horrified. It was a condo complex. I turn the corner because I can't tell exactly where the hotel is on the map. It's not there. I go back, and it was right next to the condos. Anyways...time to enjoy my cold Cane's <3

Messing around with Schmoofaba remembering A Simple Favor 2 exists leads to Smooch. Then, Smoochaba. Smoochaba Poochaba Boochaba. Hmmm...boocha sounds familiar....kombucha. Anyways, that's his current nickname: Kombucha
