Nettles attacked with throwing stars, forcing the warrior to protect his face and the joints of his armor. SpaceLab blocked the first attacks with his halberd, but Nettles quickly closed the distance and stabbed his dagger into the angel’s shoulder. The blade began pulling SpaceLab’s soul from his body, but the guardian’s resistance prevented the process from being completed. Taking advantage of their proximity, SpaceLab pinned Nettles against the shaft of his weapon and threw him into a wall. The demon attempted to throw his dagger, but SpaceLab spun his crescent halberd and deflected the weapon. A direct strike brought Nettles down before he could recover it. Nettles was killed by SpaceLab. In another region, Akaliuchis found Zee collecting souls around the ancient demonic ruins. At first, the two agreed to cooperate. Akaliuchis used her cursed threads to gather spiritual fragments and deliver them to the young necromancer, while Zee strengthened her ally’s spiritual snakes. Akaliuchis realized too late that Zee had no intention of sharing the power. Her threads began moving against her will, connected to the souls Zee had already consumed. Cullen quickly identified the curses carried by each creature and created a smoke capable of temporarily neutralizing poison and sleep. However, the dwarf of madness contaminated one of the mage’s formulas without him noticing. Gabs sent all seven dwarfs at once, but Kimmie created several illusionary copies of herself, confusing the creatures. She then aligned her magic with a constellation above the arena and summoned a rain of astral energy over the forest. The Mirror of Despair shattered, releasing every illusion stored inside it. Weakened and surrounded by her own curses, Gabs was struck by the power of the stars. Gabs was killed by Kimmie. Meanwhile, Chloe and Rainolds searched for a safe location in the mountains. Brat found Bubba and SpaceLab among the celestial ruins. The three formed a powerful defensive line, combining Brat’s spear, Bubba’s freezing claymore, and SpaceLab’s crescent halberd. Not far from them, Sprite reunited with Brookie. Brookie’s electricity flowed through her older sister’s body, strengthening her lightning and allowing Sprite to summon a storm over part of the arena. The first battle began when NicoRobin attempted to ambush Brat’s group. She spun across the battlefield while firing arrows from her blasters, using bursts of energy to push Bubba and SpaceLab away. Brat summoned his spiritual pegasus and charged through the air, piercing through the shockwave. The symbiote attached to the angel’s soul created psionic blades and shields to block the demon’s enormous needles, but Maris began attacking him psychologically, leaving blood-soaked needles embedded in the trees around him. SurferSorbet started seeing threats inside every shadow. When his symbiote reacted to an illusion, Maris found an opening and paralyzed him with a needle thrown into his shoulder. Unable to control his own body, he was struck again. SurferSorbet was killed by Maris. Rainolds found his ally’s body shortly afterward and followed the trail of blood left behind by Maris. When the ranger attempted to paralyze him, Rainolds split his halo into two smaller weapons. He dodged the needles with his high agility, threw one half of the halo, and severed the trails of blood feeding Maris’s power. She attempted to retreat, but the second weapon returned from behind and ended the battle. Maris was killed by Rainolds. Inside the ruined city, Chibi swallowed two of his cursed keys and attacked Bubba in a state of growing bloodlust. His daggers found small gaps in the knight’s armor, but he lacked the strength to bring her down quickly. Bubba endured the attacks until she managed to strike one of Chibi’s legs with her claymore. Ice spread across the thief’s body, reducing his speed. When he attempted to swallow a third key, Bubba destroyed the dagger in his hand and defeated him with a heavy blow. Chibi was killed by Bubba. Near the coastline, Katie attacked Sprite and Brookie. The demon smashed her anchor against the ground, creating violent waves and preventing the sisters from escaping. Brookie attempted to charge Sprite with electricity, but Katie wrapped the anchor’s chain around the young Soul Weaver and began draining her life force. Sprite fired lightning at the demon, but Katie used Brookie as a shield and continued absorbing her energy until the girl’s power completely disappeared. Brookie was killed by Katie. The demon leader crossed the altar with both axes raised, aiming directly for Sprite. At the same moment, Seong released dozens of bands covered in eyes toward Lexus, attempting to separate the angel from his weapons. The final battle divided instantly. Sprite met Katie in the center of the platform. Lexus and his angelic arms were forced toward the outer edge as Seong covered the arena in darkness.
