as someone who is not on moderation or the events team, i’m asking this question so we can speak openly!! i’ll start with my opinions and people can agree or disagree in the comments. race - i think a lot of the people who join race are very good at comps, i’m a little intimidated to join in case i get a partner who is obsessive about scores. but at the same time, think there’s such a wide skill gap between even someone like me and a new player that if i got them, then it would feel impossible to win. i also think that if someone saves 0 in the qualifiers (unless they actually played and got 0), they should go home because sometimes there’s more than two inactives. it’s also not filling as much as it used to unless it’s an event race so i assume people moved on. i probably could join this more actually. #runawaysraces(?) outcasted - i used to play this but i haven’t played since the update because it seems complicated so i can’t really comment. arena - i do play this ofc. remove standard arena though because if a new person picks it, gets voted and gets 11th, they’re probably not going to stay. royale - i’m hearing it’s very premade heavy and impossible to win if you’re not involved in it, i’ve only played long royales, so i can’t really comment on this, but i do like this. frenzy - this just never fills and it’s full of the same ten people. i guess you could’ve said the same about frooks, but i managed to be a force to reckoned with in frooks even though i was very new. also, inactives are terrible in this, we need a button for people to press so it shows they are active and therefore disqualifies inactives from getting HOH or POV. i feel like people are always complaining about this, so it makes not want to join. hysteria - again, i wish it filled more. similar to frenzy, it doesn’t fill and you’re full of games with inactives and its difficult to actually strategise if people will just drag them along.

i'd like to apologise the most to the people i failed, Robert991, VenusVafa and BradT50. to the people who excluded me the whole game and nominated me without fail every single round you could and only got me out because of lucky drop, i don't really have anything to say to them but i will be tagging them for transparency purposes (Cristi, Nenalala, bayonetta, Scottmaster2). i think that if a new user played that and you targeted them and discussed votes openly, why would they come back? poor jayjei never even had a shot. i'm always strategizing when standard happens and i'm not exclusionary like the people in that game were. you can't complain that people are calling you a premade when that is exactly what you just did? like i'm confused. #runawaysloses also n*nalala calling robert an sjw like that's a negative thing? is he right wing as well as completely delusional? let's discuss in the comments.

not the point of playing some of these games? like i’m confused by what i’m reading in some of these blogs. of course, i’m always real and have never misled anyone for a win, but if you get outplayed?? skill issue idk.

i fear the people are going to be mad at this take but idgaf. when flags, guitar and words eventually return, there’ll still only be like three luck comps (or four if you count flakes). i know that some comps do depend on the board that you get (like match three and chainpop) but i still consider them skill based. i think having the luck comps as an equaliser is great because it stops the same people winning all the time and i’m saying this as someone who can win a decent amount of the time. #runawaysblogs

an actual real blog about arena wins from me? i just know kovazians are shaking, but i'd like to thank everyone who has been in a game with me and flopped a final so i could win <3 my 100th win being a starfall finale where i get over 900 was not what i expected, but the underdog can win even in the hardest of circumstances. i'm the 21st to reach this milestone, and it only took me flopping a million arenas to get half-decent at comps. #runawayswins

i decided to join race on a whim and got paired with the lovely BRAT and you know what? we did that. the last time i joined, i got an inactive partner and stopped giving it a chance, but the thrill of winning round after round? oh it's almost undefeated. i still prefer arena, but i'm very grateful for my first and only win because i cannot end jaded by eating his race blog nachos. thank you. happy easter to kovaze. runaways resurrected race, can you say the same?

but i'm waiting for the kovaze oscars at the end of the year. the site votes for nominations (like top 6 voted in each category) and sin decides the winners. truly would be the event of the year. categories could include best comp best, most improved, best female avatar, best male avatar, best blogger, etc. a special flame or profile award for the winners would be cunty af. the only thing is that i feel like the site would get annoyed at the winners but idgaf.

really can impact how you're treated on here. let's study the sociological implications of that? my username is obviously not terrible, but i want to stand up for the users with less than stellar names.
