I think I maybe blogged less than 5 times back on TG. But now I really need a writing outlet and honestly this is the perfect place. Low stakes, no expectations. When I saw on Instagram this place existed, I honestly couldn't believe it. Before TG got taken down, I would remember looking back through old group games that I played in, looking through the VL at all my ridiculous dissertation-style confessionals and laughing at how crazy those games got. It's so nostalgic being back and can I just say, this set up is brilliant. Even though TG is lost to the void, was there a specific move from any type of game that you are most proud of? An epic blindside? An innovative game move? Anything that you feel was truly legendary in your own eyes that sparks the adrenaline rush that came from playing those games. If you've got one, please comment because I want to hear it! Even if you think it's a 'you had to be there moment' or 'this is going to be hard to explain' let's all walk back memory lane into a less well-moderated era haha. For me, it was on a group game (8 years ago now lmao) where I got the award for player and fan favourite for the season after getting second place. I remember an outraged VL at my loss. I was so proud of that game. Had a great core alliance that I eventually imploded from the inside in order to maximise my standings with everyone left in the final 6 so that everyone wanted to bring me to the end. Maybe not the best jury management but I also took out a returning player who I was feuding with the whole game. Shoutout to the wiki still being alive so I could make sure this info was correct lol But comment below, be cringe and celebrate your best TG moment <3
