I don't even know why I'm writing this. Life is honestly so ridiculous sometimes. You spend so much time working towards something, making plans, convincing yourself that everything is finally falling into place... and then it all falls apart in a second. I recently finished my bachelor's degree, but I have one class left to pass. I had already been accepted into my dream master's program, had my schedule, knew the people I'd be studying with, and was genuinely excited to start. Today, they told me I can't enroll because of that one class. To make things worse, my boyfriend just left to study abroad for five months. I kept telling myself that starting my master's would help distract me and give me something exciting to focus on while he was away. Now that's gone too. I know this is just a setback, but right now it just feels unfair. I guess life doesn't always go the way you plan, and sometimes... that really sucks.

Well… I suppose this is the part where I’m expected to smile, thank everyone, and pretend that this elimination makes perfect sense. It doesn’t. I’m leaving disappointed because I truly believe I had everything it took to win. I brought the looks, the confidence, the versatility, the presence, and most importantly, the star quality. I didn’t enter DNTM to become background decoration in somebody else’s journey. I entered to take the crown. Every time I stepped in front of the camera, I created a moment. I understood the assignments, but I also knew how to make them mine. I wasn’t just posing, I was building a story, a character, and a legacy. That is why this elimination is so frustrating. Some decisions throughout this competition felt confusing, and certain standards seemed to change depending on who was being judged. Some people were given endless chances to recover, while others were expected to be perfect every single time. At moments, it felt like the storyline mattered more than the actual performance. Maybe I was too confident, but I would rather leave as someone too much than stay by becoming less. I’m proud of what I delivered, and I know I made an impact.. The crown may not be on my head, but that does not mean I wasn’t worthy of it. Sometimes the best contestant does not win. Sometimes the biggest star simply outgrows the show. And now for the final update: DNTM has officially been cancelled, and LequishaQ escaped to Haiti before I could finish her. Honestly, tragic. I was saving my best episode for last. As this season comes to an end, I just want to say thank you for allowing me to be part of this journey as a judge. After finishing as the runner-up in DNTM2, it was a completely different experience being on the other side of the panel and watching the competition unfold from a judge's perspective. Thank you so much for giving me this fun moment Dimitra Jane Torimarie Judging has made me appreciate even more the amount of work, creativity, and dedication that goes into every single photoshoot. Week after week, I was impressed by the effort you all put into interpreting the briefs and pushing yourselves creatively. Some weeks were incredibly difficult to judge because the standard was so high, and that is a testament to the talent of this cast. I also want to thank the host for organizing another amazing season and all the contestants for making the competition entertaining, competitive, and memorable. Whether you stayed for one week or made it all the way to the finale, every single one of you contributed to the story of this season. Being a judge after competing myself gave me a new appreciation for the challenges contestants face. I know how stressful deadlines can be, how frustrating a bad result can feel, and how rewarding it is when a photo comes together exactly how you imagined it. That's why I always tried to be honest, fair, and encouraging with my critiques. Congratulations to our finalists and to everyone who took part. You should all be proud of the work you produced throughout the season.
