Lets get into results from last round, category was Early Career Here are the results. In First Place submitting Grenade by Bruno Mars KaliMinaj In Second Place submitting Touch My Body by Slayyter TheWoman In Third Place submitting Normal Girl by SZA Gemini In Fourth Place submitting Love Game by Lady Gaga Vanish In Fifth Place submitting Honeymoon Avenue by Ariana Grande Felicity In Sixth Place submitting WITHOUT YOU by The Kid Laroi Lifeiscool In Seventh Place submitting Endless by Fox Stevenson @MissChloeKay In Eighth Place submitting Stay With Me by Sam Smith @Nick33 In Ninth Place submitting that way by Tate McRae Melanie In Tenth Place submitting I Should Be So Lucky by Kylie Minogue SpaceLab In Eleventh Place submitting Dial Tone by Grant Knoche Airi In Twelfth Place submitting Tug of War by Carly Rae Jepsen vanishintoyou In Thirteenth Place submitting CARESS YOUR SOUL BY STICKY FINGERS BUnderscore And in last place, submitting Skin by Sabrina Carpenter Glitter Glitter, this elimination hurt because I had high hopes for Sabrina Carpenter going far in this competition. However, I feel like this song missed the mark for the category, and I honestly was not the biggest fan of it either. She had already released four albums before this came out, so it doesn’t really feel like early career to me. While it did mark a shift in her sound, it felt more mid-career than a true beginning moment. Theme : Acoustic or Stripped Due : 9PM EST Tuesday (Single Elimination) For this round, choose an acoustic or stripped-down version of a song by your artist. This can be an official acoustic release, a live acoustic performance, or a version with minimal production. The focus this round is on vocals, lyrics, and raw delivery rather than heavy production. Pick the song you feel best fits the category and include a short sentence explaining why you chose it. You may mail me or comment your submission. Here’s the Google spreadsheet of previously submitted songs. I’ll continue updating it as we go. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1mJaAtZIG8_AlzP2qef08pq4P6MOJhyN2XJMRDXAEKlI/edit?usp=sharing

For this season, you will only be able to submit songs by the artist you are playing as. Your artist may feature other artists on the song or be featured on someone else’s track, as long as they are part of the song, it will be allowed. With that said, let’s meet the cast. Playing as Ariana Grande - Felicity Playing as Bruno Mars - KaliMinaj Playing as Carly Rae Jepsen - vanishintoyou Playing as Fox Stevenson - @MissChloeKay Playing as Grant Knoche - Airi Playing as Kylie Minogue - SpaceLab Playing as Lady Gaga - Vanish Playing as Sabrina Carpenter - Glitter Playing as Sam Smith - @Nick33 Playing as Slayyter - TheWoman Playing as Sticky Fingers - BUnderscore Playing as SZA - Gemini Playing as Tate Mcrae - Melanie and playing as The Kid Laroi - Lifeiscool If you didn’t get your first choice, I made my selections based on what I felt would give everyone the fairest chance. In some cases, that meant going with an artist that better matched my taste, or one I was less familiar with and wanted to learn more about. Now let's move on to the first round. Theme : Early Career Due : 6PM EST Monday (Single Elimination) For the first round, choose a song from early on in your artist’s career. This could be an early single, a track from their debut album, or a song that shows where they started before wider success. Pick the song you feel best fits the category and include a short sentence explaining why you chose it. You may mail me, discord or comment your submission, either is fine.

Season 3 Applications Are Open Post your applications in the comments below. Applications will be open for 24 hours, and I’ll post the cast later that night along with the first category. App Rules (Inspired by Kemi's format, where players apply as and play as music artists.) – You must apply with at least one male and one female artist – Taylor Swift is off limits – A new spreadsheet will be used this season, so all songs are back in play for fairness – The more artists you apply with, the more chances you have to win - Winner gets a gift of their choice Looking for 12–20 players.

Lets get into results for the finale, category is career-defining song. Here are the songs submitted. Gemini submitted Umbrella by Rihanna LEXEY submitted All Too Well by Taylor Swift SpaceLab submitted Thank U Next by Ariana Grande This was SUCH a tough finale, and I had to listen to each song multiple times. In the end, I had to decide who fit the theme best and whose song I personally enjoyed the most. In third place SpaceLab SpaceLab, while I loved this song and do think it helped define her career, I feel other work had a stronger impact. Dangerous Woman really launched her pop career and marked her full break away from Nickelodeon. That era was packed with bangers and felt more career-defining overall. That leaves us with two finalists… Gemini and LEXEY The person walking away with a gift of their choice is… Gemini with Umbrella by Rihanna Gemini, I feel like you truly understood the assignment and had the strongest song for this category. Umbrella really put Rihanna on the map and is still one of her most recognizable songs. I still think about that lip sync battle, and even all these years later, when the beat drops, it’s just as catchy and good. While I love All Too Well, I’m not sure it fully defines her career. If anything, the ten-minute version feels more career-defining at this point. That said, I’ll say it again, Taylor Swift has a way of putting experiences I’ve lived through into words, and that’s why I’ve always connected with her. That ability is exactly what makes All Too Well such a powerful song. Congratulations to Gemini, and thank you to all the contestants for playing in Season 2. Season 3 will be coming with some format changes to keep things fresh 🙂

Lets get into results from last round, category was Song Over 6 Minutes Here are the results. 1. Gemini - Dance For You by Beyonce 2. LEXEY - Dust Bowl by Ethel Cain 2. SpaceLab - Dear John (Taylor's Version) by Taylor Swift 4. PadamPadam - To Build a Home by The Cinematic Orchestra 5.JessieKowalski - throughfare by Ethel Cain So with that, Jessie and Padam, you have both been eliminated. This has been the toughest round yet. Jessie, I didn’t feel like your song really went anywhere, though I did enjoy her voice. Padam, I really liked your song and kept going back and forth between you and Lexey, but in the end I placed Lexey third because I liked it just a little more. Theme : Career-Defining Song Due : 9PM EST Friday (DOUBLE Elimination) For the final round, choose a song that you believe best defines an artist’s career. This should be the song that captures who they are, what they’re known for, or the moment that solidified their place in music. Pick the song you feel best fits the category and include a sentence explaining why you chose it. Here’s the Google spreadsheet of previously submitted songs. I’ll continue updating it as we go. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1O6maKuOopcgl_jxCTPxrcuJB_GHTVikfwKtx91oWlU8/edit?gid=0#gid=0
