It’s season 2 ladies! This is such a fun photo shoot to begin the season with so I looked forward to seeing the photos! As a reminder I am not a judge, and I critique as a fan trying to help you all reach your full potential! https://www.kovaze.com/group_thread/69 Maris: This is the first photo I’m seeing, and it’s fine. It’s got nothing jumping out majorly wrong with it, but it also has nothing that makes it memorable for me. You look great, and it followed the instructions, but I hope to see something extra from you next week! Jane: This is a bit more interesting of a photo. It appears to me that you are controlling the waves and using them to crash the ships, so that is a cute story to tell in this photo. I think the pose could have been stronger to imply this, and the face a bit stronger as well. When sitting back like that, be careful that your front shoulder doesn’t scrunch up like that and hide your neck. Overall good first entry. Cristi: Cute photo. Some will say it is very AI, but what I like is that it is consistent throughout. The water, background models, dolphin, they all look consistent. I do think there’s a bit too much going on in the photo, and I think you would have been better off facing toward the camera more, but overall it’s a decent photo. Justini: Unfortunately this does not read mermaid to me. The styling is not quite right, and the obvious miss of the tail not being fully up the legs as well as the end of the tail not being in view will really hurt your chances this week. Your eyes being closed also was a big risk for week one. I don't get a sense of who you are in this photo. lluckygc: I enjoy the emotion, the styling, and the setting of this photo. I think to make this photo a top photo you may have wanted to crop it a bit closer and not point your legs/tail toward the camera directly since it makes you lose length. This photo shoot it should be easy to look long and tall since the tail is a natural extension to your legs, but the way you sit it makes you look quite short here. With one or two minor tweaks this could have been a top photo contender. Brat: strong start for you here. It is unique and stands out among the photos so far. Same feedback: the tail and legs look a bit short and you could have played around with a bit more length there to make this even more elevated. But that mug is fire. Medusaluh: A bold choice here. I actually love the styling, the story being told is also on brand for you so I don’t hate it. The tail is bending at a strong angle so much so it’s takes away from the overall image. The smoking is also probably not something we want to promote in 2026, but I can see how it’s part of this story you are telling…. Bubba: Face is gorgeous, strong start from a close up perspective. Unfortunately this shoot was a better opportunity for a full body shot to emphasize the mermaid element. The styling looks a bit underwhelming for high fashion, I wish it matched the strength you are giving in the face. Sprite: This is a very interesting photograph, and I love that you took the theme and made it your own. You made this look very evil pretty, and that isn’t easy to do. The pose is good but could have been even stronger to match the great emotion on your face. I could see a version of this picture where you are coming towards the camera to attack us. Overall, strong entry and I really enjoy the risks you took for week 1. missKant: neck for days honey! I wish the rest of your body was elongated like that neck. Your arm is getting squished under you which is distracting, and the mouth needed to be closed a little bit. This much open mouth with that much neck is giving hooch, and not top model. Bring that chin down slightly, keep the mouth open just not as much, and open the eyes to give us the emotion and this could have been a fantastic photo. Those are all super small tweaks you can make to stand out next week! GatoPisado: Very strong image. Your body is tea, your hair flip is great, and in this case the mouth being open works better because you are clearly yelling out or singing and your face matches that emotion. I unfortunately can't get over the weird crease in your hip/tail and would have loved to see the tail be elongated, but overall a strong first entry. KaliMinaj: the styling is great, everything is the same color scheme, it's simple yet elegant. Since it is raining, we could have maybe seen your hair fully wet, but overall I like this photo and it’s a safe, strong first entry for you. Antog: There is a bit too much going on in this photo for my liking. It distracts from you as the model. I think the image overall is not high fashion enough to stand out in the bunch. I enjoy the pose though and think it is one of the stronger versions of the simple pose we expected to see from the description. Akaliuchis: Very strong first entry. Obviously a very pretty girl, but you also carry yourself well in this photo. I think the styling and background and lighting are all wonderful. I do wish your pose had your legs/tail off to the side rather than pointed at the camera as it creates an odd angle, but the photo is still strong! Manyomash: Purple is my favorite color, so I for sure love the choice there! I do think the proportions got messed up and that would have been solved by posing at a different angle, as well as possibly elongating the tail. I think your arms look like an afterthought rather than a strong choice. I think if your eye contact with the camera was there it could have saved this photo slightly, but the combination of the other issues just didn’t add up for me. I'm curious how people are getting 70K plus in words. Like I know all the words, but are people really getting like 40 plus words correct with like 80% accuracy to get that score? I really can't fathom that.

This time I went down swinging but was played. No bad blood but I was so loyal and wonder if anyone will ever help me actually win. :( Im so sleepy. Also not really worth this pay out Sin that game was 26 hours of nonstop and I got the same point as winning 2.5 arenas...... Last time I got 4th I got more than whoever wins this. Are those new payouts for real? I have been in the current game for nearly 24 hours, could have been killed at any time so realistically needed to be active the entire time (I definitely have not been but still checking in a lot), and may get paid nothing? :(

I joined two games today between work call.... Hysteria I get nommed by an inactive HOH round one and then get sent home (a different inactive was allowed to WIN that game). Then I join a RACE and get an inactive partner and get sent home first..... Like can I even play a game? Add to this now a weakest link where I started Flags with 3 minutes left (I had just refreshed) and it saved 0. I then lost starfall next with the third highest score despite having like no stars fall but was eliminated. I just quit today.

The styling, pose, wet hair, it’s all very high fashion and you look stunning. I would love to see a softer side of your face soon, so I hope I get to see your Covergirl beauty shot. This angle does make you lose a bit of neck though, careful for that. Great job this week! Fiji: This is a very high fashion photo, and you look very modelesque here. Your leg does look abnormally long to the point it is almost distracting in this photo like “those can’t be her real legs right?” We have also seen this hair flip from you many times now, this may have actually been better with just the straight hair falling to your waist. Not your best work, but still a good submission because it is very Paris and other than your leg issue, you really nailed it. Gabs: You have come a long way in this competition, but this photo for you is a step or two backwards. It is too posey, the dress is not giving high fashion evening wear, and your face is giving very little energy in this photo. I'm sorry to say but I fear this submission will be your downfall this week. AngieKstan: I have not enjoyed a few of your recent submissions personally, but this is a much better week for you. The corset is a bold choice, but the pose, rest of the styling, and the angles you created here are appealing to the eye. I think your face could have been a bit stronger, but its giving a softer side we haven’t seen much of from you so I like it. ohEMgee: I had this same idea and was hoping a model would take it here. Your pose is great (although I wish I could see your feet/shoes). Your neck and face are stunning. I enjoy the dress but it is a bit busty for high fashion dinner wear, but overall great submission. I hope the judges see the risk and it pays off.
