When I read this theme I knew this would be a week that may make or break some models (see what I did there). I think all the photos this week are good, but some do stand out above the rest. Let’s break it down! https://www.kovaze.com/blog/95188 ohEMgee: Before seeing your photo I said to myself, this girl is at risk this week if she doesn’t produce a good photo, and girl I think you nailed it. The pose works, and the facial expression is sort of void of any expression like a doll, but keeps enough model in it for this to work perfectly for the theme. I have two small things to point out: The arms both down on that side doesn't give broken doll as much as maybe bending one of the arms the other way or holding one up above or something, but this is a minor thing. The second thing is I just am confused what’s happening at your wrists. Are those gloves? Skin? Overall great job. Fiji: You for sure look like a doll. The styling and finish are all very strong. The pose and angles you created in this photo makes your legs look very large and your torso quite small, much like a doll’s unrealistic proportions. I enjoy that. I was wondering how model’s might incorporate doll houses and I enjoy this choice. You may have been able to push the pose a bit more into the broken angles, but this is still a wonderful submission. Melanie: Unfortunately for you this is not your strongest photograph. I like the creativity of having gone with a marionette doll. This provided so much potential with posing to make yourself look like you are being pulled in very unnatural broken poses like the theme asked for, but this pose just doesn’t push it far enough. Also, last week I gave you a pass on the weaker face because the theme suggested you could look scared but strong with the snake, but here your face looks sad, but not enough doll, and not enough model. The toughest thing about this photo for me is that the concept could have easily been top photo of the week if you had executed a stronger pose and given us even half of the strength you have shown us in your face in the early weeks. Desh: Strong submission. I like the pose, but I do think you could have pushed it a bit further. The styling is good, the gown is very doll like, and you are finding ways to make that pink bob look high fashion every week which is not easy. Your face does look a little void of emotion like a doll, but I think you did lose a bit too much of the model there. When you look at the wide shot the face holds up, but when you look at the close up and turn your head it’s not as strong. AngieKStan: I like that you took the route you did for the theme. I think its so cool that every model basically took a different doll theme and ran with it. Your styling is very on brand for you and you do look great in this photo. Unfortunately, the pose is weak because it doesn’t go with the styling. Maybe if the leg on the right was bent the other way, and one of your arms was holding the chain either much lower or much higher than the other hand you could have played with a bit more angles there to strengthen this. BiancaBae: Styling and theme 8/10. Pose: 3/10. You look great, but this pose is not photo 7 worthy, especially in a week where the pose was going to be the main way to differentiate you from the other models. You played it safe and didn’t push the theme far enough. It’s a lovely photograph but does not stand out among the group. You look like a Barbie, but not a broken Barbie. Jordie: I love the styling here, and you look fabulous. I go back to the first week and how commercial you looked in that photo and how editorial this photograph looks and have to appreciate how far you have come! I actually think this pose would have worked better as the marionette pose, because the arms are a bit strange for me here this way. I enjoy the angles they create, but it’s not screaming broken doll. Gabs: this may not have been the week to go for a close up given the pose was going to be pretty critical in giving off broken doll. With that said, you did manage to give us some drama. The hand on the bottom is almost clawing at your leg, and that’s what I would have liked to see more of in this photo. That kind of energy pushed a bit further. If you had gone there with this close up cropping, that would have made this photo feel like it was jumping out at me, and would have elevated it above the others. Ralts023: Broken doll or murdered s*x worker? I appreciate where you tried to take this photo, but I’m not sure you hit the completed photograph you were aiming for here. You somehow still look gorgeous, but you look lifeless. Part of me says, well dolls should look lifeless….. but this goes a bit too far. I think what it is, is that your body looks like it lost all of its tension. The pose would work if you had kept more tension in the arms and legs so they didn’t look too relaxed. They should have looked almost stiff to make this say doll. The head is also tipped back a bit too far for me. If you had turned the chin down toward the camera a bit more that could have gone a long way to bring more life to the photo. My Rankings Fiji ohEMgee Desh Jordie Angie Gabs Ralts Bianca Melanie

As much as I hate snakes, this was a fun photoshoot and I enjoyed looking at every photo. The competition is heating up and there aren't any weak models left so everyone needs to step it up and deliver great photos! Biancabae: I enjoy the styling, lighting, and even the pose. I think I wish this was zoomed in or out more. It’s not close enough for a beauty shot, and not wide enough to show your whole body. I like the open mouth but the biting the tongue doesn’t scream high fashion here. If you had simply kept your tongue in your mouth and then left the mouth open the way it is I think the photograph would have been much better. Some may say you cheated with the all black outfit, but I say you used your environment to style yourself on set, and I think that is totally fair! NicoRobin: I actually really love this interpretation of the theme. Although I myself am not religious, I can appreciate a biblical reference. This looks like if Katy Perry played Eve in a movie and this is the intense moment where everything is about to change. I like that you took the photo from this angle and somehow you still look long, didn’t lose your neck, and are modeling H to T (just one foot cropped out again…..) My only other feedback is that you aren’t engaged with the snake as much, but again it is a unique interpretation of the theme to have him wrapped around your hood to the outfit. Desh: the intensity of this photograph stands out to me. Other than your striking face, one of my favorite things are your arms in this photograph. You create some good angles with them, and you look to be hanging from branch, but then you realize it’s a flimsy little prawn and that’s not possible yet you make it look possible in this photo because you kept tension in the right places. You may even be holding it above your head, but you still look like you are hanging from it, and I love that. I do wish you had zoomed in more on the beautiful face shot, or zoomed us out and given us the full length of the body. Oh, there’s a snake in this photo too…. Melanie: This was an opportunity for a beauty shot, and I thought you would thrive in that being one of the prettiest girls in the house, but I’m actually so glad you didn’t go that route! This pose is creative and I love how you are looking directly at the snake. I don’t think it’s your strongest face you have given us, but this is one of my favorite pictures of the week. Ralts023: This is one sexy photograph. It flirts with the boarder of being too sexy for a high fashion look, but I love the neck, you face looks great, and the coloring in the photograph is well done. You do have a weird thumb thing happening, and the mouth could have been opened slight less to imply a little less sex, but overall strong photo! ohEMgee: You really took the one snake only and maximized that. The outfit is creative and fun, and with that hair you really had to be careful with other colors clashing, so leaning fully into the black theme was smart. Other than that, the amount of snake is a bit too much for me. The photo is cool, but not beautiful. Fiji: I love how you played within the theme, but used lighting to impact the colors to make this photo stand out from the others. The pose and snake balance is one of the best in the group, and your face looks fabulous. The way the legs are crossed her slightly bother me for reasons I cannot articulate. Gabs: I love your face here and upper body pose. I like that you chose to make the snake go vertically in this image as it stands out from some of the other photos, but the way it is between your crossed legs looks a bit strange/unnatural. It is still a strong photo, but if the snake was draped along your body just a bit cleaner this would have been a top photo contender for sure. Jordie: similar to some of the other girls I think I would have liked this to be cropped closer, or given us full length. You look fabulous, the pose is good, and I love the snake accessories. Even with a thick snake across your upper body you managed to not lose your neck, well done. AngieKStan: This has your brand coming back through again and I do enjoy that. The sunglasses with the way the light is hitting your face doesn’t do it for me, but the way you are holding the snake is wonderful. I with the other arm was slightly more dynamic. The way it is on your hip is giving housewife a bit too much, but overall strong photo submission this week! My ranks Fiji Desh Melanie Nico Ralts AngieKStan Jordie Gabs ohEMgee Bianca

When I saw the tennis theme, as a major tennis player/fan myself, I was super excited to see what you ladies were going to come up with, and you have all put your own spin on things and I really enjoyed digging into your photos this week. I'm pretty confident in my top couple photo picks, and unfortunately my bottom choice, but the rest in the middle were really hard to order. https://www.kovaze.com/blog/93637 Go support the photo blog, and if last week was any indication, my critiques don't actually impact the game I just do it for fun :) ohEMgee: I really enjoy this photograph. The motion is great and the overall aesthetic is very cute. I think you missed the luxury/high fashion element a little bit with the outfit choice combined with the cutsie jump, but I really enjoy this photograph for what it is. A big element of this photoshoot was your ability to find your light in a night time photoshoot, and I think you did this well! Jordie: What’s the score? Love all? You have the high end luxury feel to this photo, and I love the pop culture reference here. The pose itself doesn’t immediately say athletic energy, but when you look closer at the photo it has a few details that really do make it seem more athletic, but also top model. Although you aren’t in heels, your top leg has your foot pointed, and your bottom foot is only touching its toes to the ground as if you are wearing a heel, and it helps this photo a lot. You are sitting on the chair, but not resting on the chair. A lot of girls have done seated poses this season and faced directly to camera making them look very short, but this photo keeps your length because you turned slightly to the side. Your face for sure is giving the confidence and elegance we are looking for, and I know you are about to get up and kick both of those boys’ butts on the court. Gabs: Who’s turn is it to serve? GABS. FINALLY a pose that is giving you life in this competition. Where has this been the last few photoshoots?!?! It is athletic yet clearly says I’m a model, and the choice of heels on the tennis court is actually working here really well. At first, I thought the ball on the ground was a missed detail, but I actually love how it looks like you are balancing the top of your foot on the ball as if you are about to roll it with your foot. Small details to watch: with the heavier eye make up this week and the dark lighting, I miss the whites of your eyes here. Also, the net in the back clearly doesn’t line up so just watch that (I know how hard that was to fix with the AI) Also, I think the photo is strong without the words on it but that’s just personal preference. MissChloeKay: The all white look was a good choice. The pose is not SUPER strong, but I do love the movement in it and that both of your feet are slightly lifted off the ground. I think the face could have been giving us a bit more today, especially after last week where I thought you had the best close up in the group! The neon lighting was also a choice I don’t think gives high fashion luxury here. You look great, and it this photo was given in week 1 or 2 I would for sure feel like you would be safe, but this week I do think this puts you at risk as it just doesn’t pop for me. Melanie: I think this is a cute photo, and I could see it being an ad. The pose is sort of playful, and I like the overall look. You are rocking that new bob. The downside is the pose isn’t exactly giving athletic energy, but it works in this composition. I would watch the night time lighting not hitting your face here. Only the side of your face furthest from the camera is catching the light, and you would want it to be the other way around in a profile. Ralts023: Game, set, matchy matchy! I love the US open reference, and the look is actually something I could see an athletic version of on my screen at the upcoming French Open. The low cut back makes it more of an eveningwear luxury look which says model, and when combined with the tennis shoe and pose it says athlete, which is exactly the prompt here. I love you are on your tippy toe, and the angles you created with your arms and other leg add a lot of much needed dimension to the photo. The trophy sitting on the ground is a little out of place, it maybe could have been on a table or somehow being held here or maybe taken out completely, but it doesn’t do enough to take away from how great you look here. Biancabae: Your choice of clay court is a nice touch, especially given you look like you are in Greece or Croatia somewhere. The pose is definitely athletic, but almost too on the nose for this (Its actually not bad form for the start of a slice backhand….) and you lose a little bit of the model in you. The hair movement is fun, and the eyes are great here. I’m not a fan of the cropped-out foot. AngieKStan: This was a risk and you know it, and it was a close call. Let’s check the hawkeye….. hawkeye says it’s IN!!! (if you know you know). I actually love that you played with dimension in the photograph and although the racket pulls a lot of focus, I still look at your face first. The pose is overall strong, and the uniqueness of the photo really grabs attention among the group. A couple of small details I would have liked to see to make this a top photo: your hand in the air I might have wanted to see grabbing the fence. One or both of your feet pointed to give a little bit more model here, and the outfit is juuuuuust bordering on cheerleader not tennis, but it works. If you had taken the logo off the top it wouldn’t seem as cheerleader as it does. Desh: To me, this is a return to form for you. The pose is cute, yet elegant. The balance on just the tippie tippie toe works for me and you’ve created great movement in the skirt. I have been waiting for someone to wear a jacket, so thank you for adding that detail. When you think of tennis you don’t think of jackets, but many of the professional players do accessorize jackets as they come to court, and they are usually oversized and cropped just like this one. Your face could have been a bit stronger, I can tell you are thinking a bit too much, but overall you really made this photo come together and found a way to embrace your makeover! I’m struggling with the court dimensions being way wrong, but I don’t notice it right away because you for sure are the main focus. NicoRobin: I love the pose as it is very athletic, but like Bianca it is very on the nose and a little bit less model. I will say the elevated back foot and arm not holding the racket do give a bit more model, but you could have taken this a step further to elevate the photo even more. Sometimes to make a photo really high fashion you have to exaggerate everything. You caught the light on your face well, but the cropping of this photo is a bit off for me. Fiji: I personally love this photograph of you. It’s dynamic, and very athletic yet you didn’t lose the model. To capture the light and still make this strong face when you are flipping your hair and are nearly upside down is pretty great! You did make a few small detail mistakes in this photograph: your heels look like two different boots, and your right booty cheek is showing, or your choice of half white half nude tights was bad… Other than that great job! I think the photo is strong enough to make up for the small details in editing. My rankings Ralts Gabs Desh Jordie Angie Fiji Melanie ohEMgee Nico Bianca Chloe

https://www.kovaze.com/blog/92479 Go support the photo blog, and remember I'm not a real judge, just a fan of all of you! LADIES! I know I was a bit hard on you all last week, but now it is you all who are making it hard on me! I think you all did such a great job this week it makes picking my top photo and top individual model really tough. The difference between best and worst photo is so small! MissChloeKay and NicoRobin Together this photo is really strong. The prompt that was given to you is followed really well and the movement makes this seem like a still from a movie. The prompt told you to make intense eye contact, which I took to mean with the camera, but I actually like that you chose to make the eye contact with each other because it gave the opportunity to show your profiles and created the tension between the two models that makes the photo great. Chloe: I LOVE your face here. It’s the first thing my eye goes to in this photograph. You look like you are taking a sharp inhale, which implies shock and urgency, but yet you still look like a model. Two things you may want to be careful of in the future: when doing a pose that has you crouching, you are going to look very short, so I love the way you are extending out that front leg, but your back leg is getting cut off and looks disconnected. Also, you lost a little bit of your neck with your hair, but your face is so strong here I almost didn’t notice. If not for the back leg, I think you top the list this week. Nico: Your face is also so strong here. You are giving me the neck I wish I saw in Chloe. Unfortunately, you also lost some limbs in this photo, your arm is hiding, and the cropping loses one foot. Minor things there but we are getting deeper into this competition so all it may take to get eliminated might be something minor. Melanie and Biancabae This photograph is high fashion, elegant, creative, and you both look stunning. The angles created here are so appealing and the choices of styling and make up make you two look nearly like twins here. I also enjoy the small details which I see in Bianca’s grip on Mel’s shoulder, showing a bit of tension and urgency. You play off each other so well. The only small issue I see here is Bianca’s right foot placement is right between Mel’s legs…. And I don’t know where else it could have gone in that pose but possibly extended out a little bit more to be placed between Mel’s foot and hand? Melanie: Pose is amazing, best you’ve given us all season! It isn’t the obvious pose you think of with spy. Face is gorge as always. Bianca: I love how you are sitting on the edge of the table, but you aren’t sitting on the edge of the table… You have kept tension in your pose in all the right places to stay elongated and strong. Even with a turtleneck I can see you are extending that neck and it’s great. I love your choice of styling with your hair slicked back. It’s clean, elegant, and gives high fashion spy. Well done. Ralts023 and Desh This photo has a lot of good qualities to it. The movement is great. It feels like you are both walking, no strutting, out of the page and into my office! The choice of hand holding is interesting and adds an element of mystery here. The styling coordination is great. With that said, the photo doesn’t exactly pop. It lacks a certain energy and I think it comes from the posing. Both are essentially giving the same poses which doesn’t give the photo enough drama to stand out this shoot. Ralts023: I’ll be honest when I saw you paired with Desh I was worried about you. But you actually steal this photograph. You are making direct eye contact with the camera and I feel like you are about to kill me, but somehow I’m happy about it. I would have liked to be able to see both of your feet here, but you look fabulous. Desh: I hate to say this, but it is your weakest photograph so far this season. Body is stunning, love the flow in the hair and styling choices, but the close up of your face lacks the energy it needs to make this photograph stand out. Since the posing isn’t as dynamic, the faces have to be giving, and for me it’s lacking in the eyes. You seem to be looking off to the left and if you had just given us the direct eye contact it elevates the photo dramatically. I do also think that Ralts stands out more because she found the light better. AngieKStan and Fiji I was very excited to see how you two would work together. I love this photo because I can see how both of you put your input into it and found a way to stay on the theme but incorporate both of your brands. The photo is different than most of the others, and in this case it works. You are both making strong eye contact and look amazing. I don’t believe you are playing off each other enough in the photo, but I can see the story being told here. What I do like about the poses is they weren’t the obvious choices, and somehow it works. Angie: I love that this is a completely different version of you we haven’t seen in this competition. You finally broke out of your mold and gave us something different, and I love it. I would be a bit mindful of the pose as you lose your legs and neck, and your arm looks a bit shorter, but your face is so stunning I don’t notice those other things right away. Fiji: Face is fire, body looks great. Pose makes you lose length and your neck, and you’ve got a weird leg thing happening, but overall this photo still works somehow. Gabs and ohEMgee I love how you took the theme and really had fun with it. It was creative, playful, and helps the overall composition of the photo. In fact, the theme actually is slightly overpowering the modeling. Both of you look fabulous, but I would have liked to see a little more dynamic posing. It’s all very linear, but it is still a strong photograph saved by the styling and composition. Gabs: Face looks great, body is on fire, and your eyes are giving the mystery we were looking for. The only issue is this pose is something we have seen from you week to week, and I have been looking for something a bit elevated from you. Give me something with more angles, more high fashion, something that jumps off the page. Omg: It was smart of you to have turned your body to the side and you gave us a bit more shape. It honestly really saves the photo from being a bit boring. Despite how great Gabs looks, my eyes are drawn to you first in this photo. The gun should have been pointed a bit more to the right so you could see your arm. Small detail, but as I said earlier these are the things that may make or break the competition as we progress. Jordie and Trueblood I like the overall composition of this photograph, and that you gave us such great dimension in the poses. I can’t decide if I love that you are both facing the same way or if I hate it. I would love to see what it looks like if True would have given us this pose in reverse to know for sure. Either way you both look fabulous and I enjoy your interpretation of the theme. Jordie: love this pose, and love that you are basically giving us an upside down face and yet it is still gorgeous. I do think you lost a LITTLE bit in the eyes that could have made this a bit stronger for you. Your one foot is also disappearing into the dirt, so be careful about that. True: Your face is the strongest in this photo and possibly in the entire group. The pose is fabulous. If I could have somehow seen your legs on the ground here I think that could have helped a bit. Maybe if you had inverted the pose and placed your feet in the space under Jordie’s back that may have worked. Overall, well done. DNTM Week 3 Critiques

Go support the photo blog: https://www.kovaze.com/blog/91162. Dimitra Well ladies….. I must say as a whole, I am disappointed. With a big celebrity guest judge Sin here this week I would have expected more from you. This is week 3, and we should be stepping our games up, but collectively this photo shoot was a step backwards. With that in mind its time for your individual evaluation (given as a fan I am not a real judge!) First up, Biancabae: I’m happy to see your eyes open this week. I think this is a good commercial photo that could sell a bottle of 9.99 perfume, but the challenge was high fashion and luxury brand. You look great in this photo (minus the lost leg) but to me it shows me you may need to study more high fashion magazines. MissChloeKay: The pose is great, I love the styling choice, and a straight to camera look with the intensity in your eyes goes a long way to help this photo. Cutting off the legs with this pose does make you look shorter than you are, and overall you look a lot different here than in your other photos. Was it makeover week? NicoRobin: your back does move! The first strong pose you have given us. I think you got the styling of this photo half right, but the bathrobe isn’t giving high fashion and editing in that spray makes this photo lose a bit of the high fashion element. If you had held the bottle in the other hand it would make more sense but right now you are spraying your face, not your neck… Your neck is GIVING though and it really saves the photo. Fiji: I have come to expect a lot from you already in this competition. With that said, this photo is good, but not living up to your potential. I like the pose, and your face is strong here, but the composition of the photo brings this down quite a bit for me. It is not high fashion luxury like the challenge asked for. Ralts023: This is a cool photograph. But the assignment wasn’t cool perfume photo, it was high fashion luxury…. Like a lot of the girls, we need to study! This photo could have been top photo if you took out the lightning, gave us a bit more of a passionate look on your face, and maybe let the bottle sit on the bike instead of holding it to camera. Desh: this is one of the first photos so far that actually gives high fashion. You look amazing here, but your expression is lacking. There is nothing in the eyes, and nothing selling this perfume to me. I think a slight tilt in your head and some smizing would have taken this photo to the places it needed to go. Strong, but not your best work. ohEMgee: Coming from you, this photo is giving me the least in your face you have done so far this competition. With that said, it is still stronger than most of the other girls. The pose is elegant, the styling is good, but I would have liked to see full head to toe in the shot and the edited spray isn’t needed. Gabs: Face looks amazingly stunning, but that’s the only good thing about this photo. The rest of your choices here all take away from how great you look. The pose is wrong, the cropping out the feet is strange, and luxury brands would not sell a bottle of perfume that large. I want to see your full body in a shot, give us strength in the pose, and extend that neck a bit more. In a perfume ad, I am going to be looking at your neck and in this photo its looking really short. AngieKStan: You look high fashion in this photo (minus the stocking choice), but the pose is giving price is right girl, and your face is not giving the strength I’ve seen in your previous photos. You also lose a bit of neck here. With that said, something about this whole combination does work for me, but I would flip past this photo in a magazine and not remember it. In this case, the perfume bottle being extremely large works because its clear its not the bottle you would buy, and its clearly enlarged. Trueblood: This photo is lovely. You took a risk in the pose, and it paid off! Your body, garment, and hair all work together to create lines that are appealing to viewer and I would for sure stop on this photo sifting through a magazine. I would have loved this photo even more if the bottle was smaller. If the bottle had to be this big, I wouldn’t hold it level with your face. Otherwise, amazing job! Jessiejedi: This photo is cute. I wish everyone would have avoided the fake spray edit because it really really hurts you here since it crosses over your face. The styling isn’t exactly giving high fashion. I think if you had slicked your hair back, taken the glasses off, maybe even posed about to eat the raspberry this could have worked. Unfortunately, the choices here look like a school teacher spraying the raspberry farm with pesticides. The good news is, with a couple of simple tweaks you could have delivered a really strong concept and look. Jordie: At first glance this photo looks perfect, and for sure is one of the strongest in the bunch. Your face, pose, and composition choices all are very strong. Looking at the photo longer, I notice I would have liked your hair to not cover your neck, and I would like a little bit more of your lower half visible, but what we can see of you is amazing! Melanie: this photo is your best so far. The only girl to give us the right product placement, true luxury high fashion, and amazing face. The pose is a bit weak still, I would have loved to see your left leg extended out a bit more and your hand not placed on your hip, but overall this photo is good. She also puts a lot of work into it so show some love! https://www.kovaze.com/blog/90202 Ladies, I find it really fun to act like Tyra, so please don't take anything seriously lol. With that said...... Trueblood: This is another strong photo. You have shown some versatility in this pose and your profile in this photo is stunning. I would have liked to see your eyes open as the closed eyes does seem to push this photo a bit into the ‘hoochie’ side when combined with this pose. We cant see your right hand and since your leg is also up…. Melanie: This photo again really screams your brand and I really appreciate that about your photos week to week. I do think your posing can be stronger and not just rely on pretty. You will need to step this up if you want to win this competition. Desh: Well, this photo is….. FIRE. Literally. Despite the chaos in the photo I can’t take my eyes off of you. The boot choice does make your legs look insanely long, and that is my only negative critique here is your left leg looks like we photo shopped it poorly. Otherwise, amazing work! In order for a model to stand out with this much going in in a photograph, she has to be super strong. Well done. Kemi: This is an example of a model relying a bit too much on pretty. My same feedback on the pose as I gave to True, be careful with the closed eyes and hand/leg placement. This crosses the line into hoochie that wont sell in high fashion magazines. AngieKStan: This is another solid photo from you! You are clearly branding yourself in a specific category of model with your first two photos. Although this is a very bookable look, the judges are starting to wonder if there is versatility there. I see the improvements from last photo to this one, so I expect some even greater things from you as you progress into this season! Jessiejedi: This is a great example of what we are looking for on this show. A model who can take constructive criticism and show us we were right to give you another chance! You took a lot of the feedback given to you and made a lot of improvements in this photo. You created more angles with your pose, you created a lot of movement in this image, and for some reason this photo stands out among the group. While this is not the strongest photo in the bunch, the level of improvement here has me excited to see what other potential we can unlock! Jordie: I love to be wrong about a model, because last week I was certain you couldn’t deliver a high fashion editorial look and that you were too commercial. Although the choice of jacket makes this not scream high fashion, it surely shows your potential as a high fashion model that can do both editorial and commercial work! I did for a second think you had two left hands in this photo, but in the close up I can see its just the lighting on the street, but something you may want to have edited out. Fiji: clearly you have studied your poses and have come to this competition prepared to deliver. Given last week’s photo choice, I was very nervous for this week’s challenge because I wasn’t sure if you were going to be able to rock this look, but you found a way to still bring your personality into this photo, but also sell the look. I do think this is a bit over posed and crosses a bit too far into pin up for high fashion, but its still a great photograph! MissChloeKay: At first look, the photo is nice. It’s clean, it’s simple, but it doesn’t pop. You have great movement in the hair, but your body is stiff and the pose lacks dimension. You have also chosen to give us another cropped photo, which makes me concerned you aren’t confident to show us a full body shot. Biancabae: At first glance I think this photograph is good. I like the movement, pose, and set up. But when I take a longer look there are a few things that majorly concern me. First, you look almost unrecognizable here. A top model needs to be able to be recognizable in any outfit or look no matter what. The best models in the world are paid the highest because they are most recognizable, and at first I didn’t think this was you. With that aside, I would love to have seen your eyes open, and the handbag in your hand. Also, although not impossible, why is the steering wheel on the right side of the car when you are in New York? This shows you need to pay a bit more attention to the smaller details. Gabs: this is definitely an improvement from last week, particularly in the pose and overall direction of the shot. It is a bit obvious, so I still would like to see more creativity from you! OhEmgee: Again serving face! I am constantly getting so much from your face in your photos and that is such a strong quality in a model! I do think the cropping of this photo is your only major mistake as I would have loved to see how long your legs could look when you don’t cut them off. It would really sell the look! NicoRobin: I’m concerned about you in this competition. I liked the choice of a straight on shot last week, but you have essentially given us the same photo two weeks in a row in a different outfit. The production of the photo is completely overshadowing you as the model. You also didn’t find your light. A model always needs to know where her light is, and unfortunately you haven’t found it in this photo. Even in a dark setting, you need to figure out how you can pose in a way that gets that light onto your face! Ralts023: This photo shows off your body very well, and you are thriving in that. I think the pose has yet again crossed into too much ho, and not enough fashion. The front leg should never be bent toward the camera, it will make it look significantly shorter than it is. The hand placement is what throws it over the top for me. Remember, ho but make it fashion. Royale

Goomybear      ❤ 124    ▲5

I finally had a good Royale run. EDIT: 1st Bagel Killed by Goomybear??? LOL from the grave, I'll take this :) I would like to thank Bagel, Luxray, and Marwane for helping me get that far. Sorry about taking the extra time at the end there but along with the real life interruptions I really was sad to have the game end because I did really enjoy it and there was this little part of me that wanted to go down swinging so I had to take a few minutes to process and just say shhhhhhhh to that little voice. Thank you for allowing me that time and understanding and not hunting me down in the meantime. I would also like to thank Medusaluh and Sprite out too soon! Also there were too many others I interacted with this game that made it really fun to name them all but the people listed helped me directly impact the game. And I would like to apologize to all of those I killed along the way. Casinocheese that sniper was ACTUALLY an accident. I fear I may not be able to tag those I killed because I may have been blocked. :S I would like to donate one month of my 4th place winning every year to the families.

SORRY!

DNTM Judging

Goomybear      ❤ 108    ▲10

If I was a judge (and I should be) these would be my critiques. (Acting like toxic Tyra here) https://www.kovaze.com/blog/89373 dimitra this is so fun! NicoRobin- I think your picture is elegant, and I like that you gave us a straight on face shot, but your pose is weak. I would have liked to see a bit more dimension. Melanie- what I like about this photo is your brand really comes across here. Strong face, I like that you show off the garment well. The down side of this photo is the pose makes you look short, and you lose a bit of your leg and also your left arm. It is a strong photo but missing the top spots because of those little details. MissChloeKay- I find it to be an interesting choice to have gone with a cropped image because you aren’t showing off the full garment, but on the other hand I love that you focus in on the beautiful corset and jewelry, as well as your stunning face. I love that you are extending that neck, it really saves this photo. AngieKStan- I can see this photo being a cover. The pose is strong, the dress is being displayed beautifully, but a couple of things prevent this photo from taking the top spot this week which would be the awkward hand placements. You lose your arms completely and both of your hands are floating. I would have liked to also get a full length to show the entire gown and the heels. Desh – I like that you took a risk with this pose. I love the gown, the crown, and your body looks amazing. I caution you with the pose because it makes you look shorter, so if you had just straightened that back leg a bit more and gone with slightly less hip tilt, this photo is elevated from good to great. Be careful with the hand placement on the clutch. OhEMgee- What I like most about this photo is the emotion I am getting from your face. It’s telling a story. I wonder, why is this beautiful princess sad? It is not the strongest pose of the group, but overall this is a compelling photo that stood out to me. Gabs- Unfortunately there isn’t a ton of good to highlight about this photo. The gown is overpowering you as the model, and the pose is doing nothing to enhance this photo. The close up of the face is the one thing that saves this photo, but if you stay this week you will need to work really hard on posing. Mochalatte- Where do I begin? This photo confuses me from top to bottom. The chosen location, the dress basically coming out of the bottom of the photo pulling focus away from your face, it's just very amateur. The only thing model about this photo is the hand. Trueblood- This is one of my favorite photos of the week. It tells a story, gives high fashion, and even though there is a lot going on in the photo I can’t stop looking at you. You look as if you are floating on those roses yet you keep tension in the right places. The subtle open mouth really tops this photo off. Well done. Jordie- Overall this is a good photo, but it SCREAMS commercial. The pose is commercial. The face is commercial. Overall it is more pageant queen than royal queen. Kemi- I enjoy the creativity, the face looks good, and I appreciate the drama in the hands. The rest of the pose lacks strength as you are being overpowered by the garment. I think you could have created a bit more movement with the dress and used the staff to create more angles. That could have elevated this to a more high fashion photograph. Biancabae- This photo lacks energy. The pose is basic, the dress doesn’t stand out among the group, and my focus goes straight to your lips. If this was a lipstick ad, you would have sold me that lipstick, but this challenge was about Royal Dynasty and you missed the mark. Ralts023- Strong photo overall. Even though you are sitting down you elongated your neck to make you look taller. I do think you need to watch the arch in your back don’t push those girls out too much in a high fashion shoot. If you had bent your knees off the one side and made sure your full shoes were shown out the bottom of the dress you could add more length. Fiji- This is the strongest pose of the bunch by a mile. It is giving high fashion. You created drama, angles, and highlighted the garment well. I also disagree with some of the judges that this didn’t exactly hit the theme, I find this to be so elegant, and shows that royalty is not always castles and feasts. The fact that you can look as elegant as you do despite the location being swampy, just proves how strong this photo really is. To me this is the princess has snuck off from the party to meet up with the common hunk in the forest and I love everything about it. Jessiejedi- I will start by highlighting that even with a very tricky necklace, you did not lose your neck! I like the drama in the hands, but the pose is weak overall, and the off centered chair in the background ruins the symmetry this photo has. You created slight movement in the bottom right in the dress, but I would have liked to see more of this. Royale

Goomybear      ❤ 73    ▲2

Dying in royal because I refreshed my screen when there was a do not click on it and it said I clicked it is really really annoying. All that pop up stalking for what? Also, the fact no one else has died after my accidental unaliving like 5 hours ago is pretty sad. Can't we just add me back into the game it was so dumb.
