After 13 years, I rewatched American Horror Story: Asylum. I had forgotten just how good this series is—how they managed to blend demonic possession, aliens, a serial killer, a mad scientist, and religious corruption without getting lost in all that information! The season has a clear beginning, middle, and end; although the finale is slow-paced, it was excellent and well-crafted. Just watch it. Tomorrow I’m starting my favorite season (Coven)—out of the ones I’ve seen (I’ve only watched seasons one through six).

I had to deactivate my Instagram because people were obsessed with politics to an unhealthy degree—there were threats, and married men preaching about "protecting the family" while cheating on their wives; people were hurling insults at each other. But the worst part is that these are people who don't even understand the separation of powers or the role of a president—people who are clueless even about their own jobs. I love politics, but I hate politicians and the people who defend them.
