[EVENTS] Power UP Arena Sign Ups As mentioned I'll be testing a few of the powerup options in several game modes. We're going to start with the basics, powerup Arena with popups that can change the competition you play. Bear in mind none of these are automatic and you must specify within the first minute of the round (if you have the popup). Remember, this is in testing phases so please don't expect it to be smooth. I will be offering double Koinz as we will be having a 15 person cast, rather than 11. Depending how this goes I'll be hosting more over the weekend (and at a later timezone too!) Powerups that will be available: LUCKY SWITCH: Change the current competition to one of three comps (Your choice - Codebreaker/Lucky Drop/Deal or No Deal) COMPETITIVE SWITCH: Change one of the above competitions to a competition of your choice (non luck). None of these comps can be played back to back, but you may choose the same competition again if it hasn't been used the round prior. Using the powerup can be used for changing a competition to one of it's "branding", i.e Lucky Switch changing Deal to Code. ONE play per round - MEANING the first powerup played will be taken, a powerup cannot override another. ALL must be played within the first minute of the new round. All expire at F3 (F4 last chance to use), that competition will be randomised.

Over the next couple of days (and the weekend at a later time for those on a later timezone) I will be hosting a few races/arena with powerups. If I get enough interest today, I will be hosting one (please comment below if you're interested but if we get a lot of people a sign up blog will be posted in the next couple of hours). During the testing phases of this, please bear in mind there will be a *lot* for us to change/add/remove so please don't sign up if you're expecting a 4 minute round race game. Going forward ANY time someone saves zero, unless it's the fault of the host or a bug your comp will not be reset so do not play the competition until stated otherwise. LUCKY SWITCH: Change the current competition to one of three comps (Your choice - Codebreaker/Lucky Drop/Deal or No Deal) COMPETITIVE SWITCH: Change one of the above competitions to a competition of your choice. STEAL: Steal $10 from any player of your choice. If they do not have $20, you will receive what they have remaining EVERYONE'S SAFE HERE: Make the whole round a non elimination. Must be announced with a minimum of 30 seconds left on the clock. I CHOOSE YOU: Pick your partner from the remaining racers. Must be announced within 30 seconds of the next round starting. Expires at F4. ALL CHANGE: Randomise every partner in the game. Expires at F4 BACK OFF: You switch two other teams pairings. Expires at F3. Remember I'm gauging interest for now.

We've had some drastic changes this round with style gaining the most amount of points and moving off the bottom, and are second highest round 1 placer Nenalala gaining the least amount of points! They are followed very closely behind by maxhilary with 93 points. Positions 3-7 all come within a point of each other, with Ivan & Justini currently tying for 3rd with 89 points and Gabs, Miami and ghutch all having 88 points. It's still very close at the top! Now moving down to the bottom of the list... We have a new dead last person and I'm sorry Jordan009, that would be you with 58 points! Round out the bottom 5, from highest to lowest are AngieKStan, Sin, MrsChloeKayCecci & Benopolis. This iconic bottom group I can't. Still plenty of games to go, just hope the majority of your teams qualify going forward to make sure you can maximise your points!

You know what people do when there's a new comp released that they've never played before? They practice it. I do feel like people rly expect to be instantly good at things when new to the site, and I understand it's frustrating, but so many of us sucked when we first started and were persistent and just played games. I remember seeing so many new users on the site that have now turned into beasts or at now at least so much better than they were, and that's because they played and kept playing. I do feel like some people just instantly want to play something and be great at it. My first Treasure Hunt score was 141. If anything there are way more game modes to practice games in now than before (we literally only had Arena, then race). Hysteria is such a good happy medium for practicing comps and being social. I do hope that (and there will be) a game mode that gives people a chance to practice more without being deterred and I'm glad that things are being implented (they are), but everyone has to start somewhere... and we all did. Competitions that are more equal have definitely been added - things like Burgers, Balloons, even Maze, and definitely that khia comp Water Tank. Just look at the HOF for all of these for example and see the difference between older style comps. I feel like people will just ask more "luck" based things or less skill based things until they get a 50/50 coin flip.

After a long week Matchday 1 for each of the teams in this years world cup has been completed! 51 of you completed a draft... and the points have been calculated! Obviously during the World Cup, similarly to when we had the Kovaze Gala there will be several fast paced custom mini game events. We want to try to include as many game modes as possible & are interested in hearing your ideas of what you'd like to see, or whether you've really enjoyed an specific custom game before that you would like to see return? I'm talking on the relatively small scale here as larger style events will always be given plenty of notice. This will combine a favourite custom game with very simple world cup trivia. (Yes, you can very simply google but if you already know the answer that will obviously be quicker). Don't worry, during the World Cup there will plenty more of these held at various times so everyone will get a chance to play different themed games.
