Sometimes a fight in a social game isn't really about the game. What started as a disagreement over choosing Weakest instead of Sacrifice quickly became personal. One side saw it as another example of decisions that repeatedly benefited others while hurting them; the other felt unfairly blamed for everything. The most interesting part is how quickly strategy became intention. A game choice was no longer judged by what it was, but by what people believed was behind it. After the first argument, the player left the group, only to be added back shortly afterwards. But the tension returned immediately, with the same accusations about indirectly helping somebody and hurting the others. At that point, nobody was really arguing about a challenge anymore. They were arguing about trust. And that's the real lesson: when people already believe you're working against them, even an innocent strategic decision can look like sabotage. Likewise, when you feel constantly accused, every complaint starts sounding like another attack. Sometimes the biggest problem in a social game isn't losing. It's reaching the point where nobody believes the other person's intentions anymore.
